Why do people hate katanas

Is it because they aren't as fast and uncomfortable as the latest greatest supersports? Everytime I've ever sat on one, I thought it was damn near the perfect mix of sport, comfort, and touring. I had a chance to ride a later model Kat , and I think with a some gearing work that it would be a great "do it all" machine. So can anyone tell me why it seems everyone thinks they suck?

Also the Kat to me has a heck of a lot more character. I will keep my katan over any sport bike. I know for a fact a kat is a comfortable ride on a coast to coast journey. I know that I can stand it up and keep her on the back wheel as long as any of them, I choose not to, But it will do it, I know I can go as fast as I care to go on it, SO I am damn happy with my bike.

Are you sure about that? Last I heard everyone was hating on the heavy weapons like great axe, great club, and ultra greatsword.
